Here at North Country Dog, we believe that every dog deserves a good break during the day. As well as their owners. We offer long or short walks, to anywhere your loveable pup may wanna roam!! And wherever they may lead us, we will roam!!
Dog Grooming
Providing you with all your dog’s pet grooming needs. Making them look fresh and fab after every appointment! All while showing your dog love and care to make sure they feel understood and safe.
Pet Sitting
We provide all pet sitting services for more than just dogs! Big and small. We will adhere to any rules and regulations you have for your animals. We will remain respectful of your home and boundaries within them.
Overnight Boarding
Given any time available. We do offer overnight boarding to any dog owner who may need it. Either scheduled or last minute. Of course following any meet and greet!
Training
We offer Obedience Training, Behavioral Training, Balanced Training, and Scent work Training. Prices will vary per customer, due to the needs of the dog, or needs and wants of the customer.

Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Prevention & Response Protocol
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
- All dogs must have a current Bordetella vaccine on file.
- Accepted forms: Injectable, Intranasal, or Oral.
- Vaccine must be administered at least 3-7 days prior to attending daycare.
- Vaccine must be renewed annually, or every 6 months if recommended by your vet.
DAILY HEALTH SCREENING
At check-in, dogs will be screened for: - Coughing
- Sneezing
- Nasal discharge
- Lethargy
- Eye or nose irritation
Any dog showing symptoms will be turned away.
IF A DOG DEVELOPS SYMPTOMS DURING DAYCARE - The dog will be immediately isolated from the group.
- Owners will be contacted for prompt pickup.
- All areas the dog accessed will be disinfected thoroughly.
- Staff will monitor all dogs for further symptoms.
CLIENT NOTIFICATION
If a dog in our care is confirmed to have Bordetella: - All potentially exposed clients will be notified.
- Notification will include:
- Date of potential exposure
- Symptoms to watch for
- Our ongoing cleaning and safety measures
RETURN-TO-DAYCARE POLICY - Dogs must stay home for 10-14 days after symptoms resolve.
- A veterinary clearance may be required to return.
CLEANING & SANITATION - High-contact surfaces cleaned daily with veterinary-grade disinfectants (e.g., Rescue(TM),
KennelSol(TM)). - Full facility deep-cleaned weekly or more often during outbreak periods.
- Food and water bowls sanitized after each use.
STAFF SAFETY & HYGIENE - Hands washed between handling dogs.
- Gloves worn when managing sick animals.
- Clothes changed if contaminated.
AIR CIRCULATION - Fans and ventilation systems used to promote airflow.
- Air purifiers run in enclosed areas to reduce airborne pathogens.
DOCUMENTATION - All illnesses logged for trend tracking.
- Incident reports kept on file.
- Transparent communication maintained with clients.
